About me
Based in Toronto, I’ve been a CA/CPA for over 30 years, but most of my career has been spent in capital markets, working on system implementations across market risk, credit risk, regulatory compliance and funding.
I’ve always enjoyed the fast-paced nature of capital markets, and with the ascendance of AI, I think the sector will continue to be an interesting and compelling place to work.
Outside of work, now that I’ve exited the startup lifestyle, I spend time running, catching up on my reading, and watching rugby. My family has a cottage in Tiny Township, Ontario, where I love to spend the summer doing repairs, trimming trees and swimming in Nottawasaga Bay (the best place in the world for open water swimming, IMO).
I’ve given talks and presentations about the application of AI to the fixed income trading lifecycle, the startup journey, and fixed income in general. If you would like to discuss a presentation or speaking engagement, please reach out to me here.
