Hello, I’m Duncan Rowland, welcome to my site.

In 2019 I founded a company called Migrations.ml. Our thesis was that machine learning could be applied to the credit investing lifecycle, from research to portfolio management to risk management.

I obtained some funding, built a team, and went to market. It was a challenge, but also a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, Migrations.ml couldn’t get sufficient traction, and I had to close the company down in late 2024.

With the company gone, I’ll use the domain as a personal site, writing about my journey as a founder, the credit markets, and other topics. The latter may include music, beer, rugby, cycling and anything else that I think is worth sharing.
